Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone else is having issues with the most recent Xbox One update. Noticed that this afternoon my Xbox updated itself and since that the Plex App for Xbox One is unable to find my local Plex server. All was working fine up until the update this afternoon.
Have tried the following:
Hard reset of the Xbox
Unlink and re-link Xbox
Note - all others devices are can pickup the local server and play content fine.
Anyone else having the same issue or am I on my lonesome
In case anyone else runs into this issue - I’m not sure what changed with the update or maybe it was an update to the app etc. I uninstalled the Xbox One app, still had the same issue.
Went to Settings in the Xbox One app and then Advanced and changed the “Allow Insecure Connections” to the “On same network as server” option.
The Xbox One app then picked up my server.
Note - I have no remote access for Plex, just local so I’m ok with this (for now).
