Hello my wife informed me tonight that her watching content and currently on deks content wasn’t syncing between devices.
So for example on her laptop, it shows a season as complete. But when she logs into the Plex app on the LG tv it shows that season as unwatched. Likewise, when I log in as her on my laptop it shows that season as unwatched.
She is using a local, non admin, account on the Plex server.
Please check her laptop.
Verify that she has ‘Switched User’ to the managed account and is not using the regular account (which you have invited into your Home as well).
Something else to check: some smart TV clients refresh their home page not often enough. On the smart TV, dive down into a library and then use the ‘Home’ key to go back to the home page. This should force a reload of the home page contents.
Yes she is using a ‘Manage User’ account,. the account was created manually for her by me. It’s not linked to an invite account.
I’ll try the trick with the smart tv app - however this issue is occuring when she logs into my laptop and the content is refreshing nicely on the tv app when I use my account.
