When opening plex on my devices now and get to “select user” screen. Every managed user has a settings button under the name. Where they can edit settings as allowed content rating etc.
How do you remove this button for the users? Or lock it so they can’t change what they are allowed to watch?
No idea to have a managed user for my kids if they just can change what they are allowed to see.

They can change language, as well as Audio and Subtitle settings, but not restrictions, AFAIK
Could you help pointing out what exact “select user” menu you’re referring to?
From what you describe it sounds as if you’re referring to the “Uses & Sharing” menu that’s available to you as the admin of your server… not the settings each user will get/see (those will only show playback preferences, language stuff etc. – as stated above by dane22)

well, to use managed user , i have to be logged in as a regular user (me).
“Note : In order to actually use a Managed User, you need to first sign into the Plex app as a regular/full member of the Home. Once you do so, you can then switch to the Managed User in supported apps.”
And no, so far i havent started using PIN on my account (will start using that as soon as the kids can start the tv themself and start watching)
And the PIN is where the protection/restriction is, so if you want what you req, then add a PIN
ok, adding PIN solved it. now they need to enter admin PIN to access that setting. thanks!
