Login and auth errors, now I'm locked out of my account

I’m locked out of my account with a lifetime premium pass, please help me know where to post this or ask for help. I hate doing this in public instead of directly to support, but the only direct support I have found from Plex is in billing. Here’s my issue:

I originally had an email/pass login. I then added apple login, which made me add a password again after the fact. Login forms were having some issues in apps, where it would tell me my name/pass were wrong, or I would have to navigate to embedded pop ups to find a login in apple button, etc. Due to all of the errors, I thought if I could add a pin and use that instead things would be easier.

But now it keeps telling me my pin is wrong from every device, and I am unable to reset it. Here are my steps from a browser:

  • Pin won’t work, so I click “reset?”
  • Putting in a new pin twice and password gives the error “A valid password and verification code are required to perform this action”
  • Clicking sign in with different user brings up a web form with the options to sign in with apple or email/pass
    • email/pass -> 2fa form -> successful login and redirect to pin reset form -> new pin twice with password that just worked, same error
    • apple login -> successful login and redirect to pin reset -> new pin twice with working password, same error

So now I’m locked out of my account of every device except for plexamp on my phone. How do I fix this issue?

You have activated 2-factor-authentication (2FA) on your account.
The “PIN reset” form doesn’t have a separate input field for the 2FA code, yet.
To use the form successfully, you need to put your password and the 2FA code into the “password” input field.
