This is happening quite a lot since update. Whne i click on to play a vidoe the connection to the plex server is lost. I cant ping it. It last for about a minute. then comes back and i can play the vide. any ideas .
If you cant ping it that sounds more like a network problem.
Can you login to the plex server while you cant ping it and see if it can ping out?
I use most recent updates and do not experience this on Linux PMS.
The network is fine. if i do a continuous ping to the plex server its fine. As soon as i open plex in chrom on the other machine, the ping drops for about 20 seconds then comes back. Only when i use plex. Its on server 2012, never had these problems before.
I have this problem since the update as well. I had zero problems before the update.
I keep losing connection to the server. I would love to know if there is an answer. I connect using appletv and the web on a pc and i get the same.

Issue has resolved itself. I assume the update I installed fixed it.
