So we have been using the iPhone photo upload feature for awhile now and it seemed to be working well until we found that we lost a bunch of images!
Take a picture with your phone, post it to instagram or some place where a duplicate image is saved with a filter or whatever and then open Plex and let it automatically upload the image.
At this point it will only upload 1 of the images because the file name is the same and it’s very random, sometimes it will upload the original and sometimes the edited version. We have lost a lot of images! We use Plex photos so we can delete photos off our phones but now we are scared to unless we manually check every image which is not why we use it.
Does anyone know of a fix for this?
I have designed and tested software for the last 10 years and this would be a show stopper to us…
