Lost connection to my libraries/server?

Server Version#: PlexMediaServer-1.15.8.1198-eadbcbb45-x86_64
Player Version#: Version 3.95.2

I am not sure which server version I used before the new one (though it was from March’19) , but Plex has been working perfect showing all my Movies from movie folder on NAS until the problem occurred. What happened is that I wanted to add a folder with TV Shows. After that the link between movies & tv shows folders got lost. The movies and tv shows thumbnails/descriptions was still visible in web client (and Apple TV Plex app etc) under library, but the movies or tv shows no longer loaded. I decided to install latest version of Plex server, but did not help. I then removed my server from the list (Un-claimed?) and since then I can’t see the server any more. I can logon, I can see the web ui. On devices list the server is gone, and I done seem to have any option to add servers. I have tried all your suggestions from forums on same issue. I have tried completely uninstalling and deleting Plex folders/users, then reinstall. I end up the same place where it says looking for servers - and nothing more happens. Even though that page seems to be loaded from there server itself. I am a happy Plex Pass user until now, never had problems like this over the years. Please help.

Hi Trumpy81. Thanks for prompt reply. It for sure explains why I lost the link to my libs after upgrading to latest Plex version. However after assigning rights to Plex user for my shares etc. it still doesn’t find my server:

I have no menu items to add server or libraries.

Thx

Hi, that worked! thanks! But honestly a bit cumbersome. If I just had got a warning that privileges was no longer valid on my server for plex user instead of just no connection anymore, then I would have had a clue of what to look for.

Anyway, back in business, but not something for ordinary users to fix using telnet and commandlines
