Lost Password, As Well As Access to Registered Email Account

Hello,
My Plex library was using an old email I created strictly for Plex. I recently cleared my internet history and it cleared ALL of my saved passwords unintentionally. What a pain that has been. I have tried every password I have used in my lifetime to attempt to login to both my old temp gmail account (so I can use forgot password) and my plex login using that same gmail account but have had no luck.

How do I access my Plex library in this case? The server is running on the current computer I am on. Obviously I am unable to use the forgot password option for Plex with no email access. And even for Google, I’d guess because it’s been an inactive email account for so long, just says “You can’t recover your account at this time because Google doesn’t have enough info to be sure this account is yours.”

Please help.

I suppose the most critical step will be to restore access to your mailbox. That’ll smoothen subsequent steps (e.g. restoring Plex access).

One option would be to reclaim the server for yourself on a new email/account. You would essentially be migrating the server from the old email to a new one.

This isn’t a good idea if you want to recover the account itself (Plex Pass would be lost, for example), but worst case scenario you can regain control of the server.

This is why I use hunter2 as my password EVERYWHERE.
