Lost password (Forgot not working)

I have Plex account for one of my family members and they cannot reset their password. Clicking “Forgot” never generates an email. and yes, I checked the junk email folder too.

The odd part is if I invite the family member to my Plex server, they receive the email just fine, they just cannot log in or reset their password.

Please advise,

Did they accidentally delete their account. You can’t reset a password for a deleted account. PM me their Plex username and email and I can restore the account.

The sharing works on a different system. It’s just an email. You can put any email in that box and it will send the invite.

I have a plex pass account but trying to login locally, via plex.tv, or client all yield same result of “incorrect username or password”. I have sent email to the Billing Support Team and am posting here. Someone please help. The logs give an “HTTP 401” reply.
