While I also vote for native Chromecast/Google Home support, I found out that using the Google Home app, I could actually cast all audio of my phone to my Google Nest Mini. So PlexAmp worked fine streaming. I don’t know how many phones support this of couse, but it looks like a viable temporarely solution for at least Samsung phones. You can also stream to Chromecast for having these nice visualisations.

For the love of everything which is holy. We need Chromecast / Chromecast Audio support. Now with Google Play Music being thrown to the wolves there’s no good option to stream my local music. I use the main Plex app for this but the Plexamp experience is better overall, just missing Chromecast. Who do I have to bribe to make this happen? :smiley:

+1 on Chromecast.
Brand new to Plex. Plexamp is THE player UI, definitely. But since it lacks Chromecast support, it’s not really useful except for headphones. Switching between apps based on playback (speakers w/Chromecast vs headphones) isn’t really worth having two apps.

Need Chromecast audio support. With Google Play Music going away, Plexamp will only be a viable replacement with Chromecast support.

Re-add inter-plexclient-cast first plz (Plex web / Plex Android iOS client to plexamp for example) . Then Alexacast and Chromecast.
