Low quality on remote streaming

Hi Everybody,

I have a Synology NAS DS220+ and on that I am running Plex Media Server.
The server is running Plex version 1.30.06487-7000.

I am currently away from home, and therefore connecting to my Plex, but I am only able to choose 320p quality on every media that I choose.

On the settings under “Remote” it says that I have full access outside of my Network, and I am using a specified port 32400 both internal and external. Port forwarding is also set up on my router. I’ve also checked Quality settings and everything seems like it should just work. But I am still not able to choose original quality.

Anyone experienced this, or have an idea of what I can do? I am tempted to just reset everything and start over…

It’s actually now switching between green and red in the Remote section…? hmm.

Have a similar issue.

Over xmas I was away and I could access plex and although not fully accessible showed, I got full video quality for the stream.

I noticed plex was out of date along with my QNAP Software so updated both. Now although I can either have an auto connection or a manual port forward connection I am suddenly seeing very low quality stream whilst not at home. Its fine in the local network.
