Just bought a lifetime plex pass as I’m going to try the DVR. I don’t see any lyrics. I don’t see a lyric button to click. I’ve run a refresh of the library. What am I doing wrong please?
I assume you actually made a new music library and selected “premium” library? Assuming you did, know that not ALL songs have lyrics, but in my experience most do.
Lyrics availability differs from country to country.

You can get lyrics in a last.fm library as well, if you enable ‘LyricFind’ under
Settings - Server - Agents - Albums - last.fm
Although be advised that LyricFind tends to find lyrics more often for albums, but not so often for sampler albums or single tracks.
Yes, I am finding some do have lyrics. But Taylor Swift 1989 doesn’t! And that’s an example on the website. I didn’t make a new “premium” library as the info I read seemed to suggest I should refresh all. So that’s what I did.
Should I remake the music library? I hope I don’t have to do that, I have spent a lot of time tidying it up and making it “right”.
It could be that an album title that consists of all numbers may not get recognised by LyricFind without trouble.
Or
It could be that you are in a country where LyricFind has no license for this particular lyric.
You see LyricFind does pay the artist for this (and so in turn does Plex).
And unfortunately when going the legal way, things move much slower and are much more complicated.
How is the album named in your library? (what’s the exact spelling, including all other info that may be also present in the AlbumTitle meta tag ?)
Are you organising your music in a folder structure like this?:
Music /
AlbumArtist /
AlbumTitle /
1. TrackArtist - Songtitle.mp3
2. TrackArtist - Songtitle.mp3
...
I think the Taylor Swift Album was purchased on iTunes. So they’re all m4a. Is that the issue?

No. As long as it is still correctly tagged with meta data this shouldn’t make a difference.
Meta data hasn’t knowingly been removed. The folder was simply copied to my plex library from my iTunes one.
