I’ve noticed that lyrics from LyricFind does not work if there is ANY alteration to a tracks title. I thought LyricFind would search by actual lyrics and NOT by song title. On the LyricFind website they state “If your users can’t search based on the lyrics, they’re missing a key way to interact with your content and service!” These two tracks of exactly the same song. One produces the LyricFind icon lit and lyrics displayed, the other does not display a lit LyricFind icon and haas no lyrics.
Both of these tracks from the same Andy Williams album. One has LyricFind lyrics, the other does not.

That quote is about searching for a song by entering the lyrics. A “What’s that song” type of feature, which Plex has not implemented.
To associate lyrics to a sing, that song has to be matched by album and track. In your example, are both tracks matched properly? Check the xml info and see if they have the same GUID, that’s what is used to ID the song. Lyricfind may not have lyrics for the same song on a different album.
Thanks for your response. Actual music is stored in my Apple Music(formally known as iTunes) on my MacBook Pro hard drive. Both versions are identical in every way but for iTunes created identifiers “Track ID” and “Persistent ID”. Both versions of “Born Free” are from the exact same album because I created a copy of the track in the album and added the “[70]” year to the track title. So there are 2 versions of the identical song in the album directory.
I did not find a GUID in either of the “Get Info” windows of either title version of the songs. I checked all 6 tabs of the “Get Info” in iTunes/Music. I generated a Playlist XML of both songs which I have attached. Other than the unique iTunes identifiers “Track ID”, “Persistent ID”, “DateAdded” and “Date Modified”, The only other difference in this metadata is the " NameBorn Free[70]" and " NameBorn Free".
If you know of somewhere I can look or a special tool that will allow me see the GUIDs of these tracks, please let me know. The GUIDs must be exactly the same since one track is identical to the other because I duplicated it.
Also, I will create a Guest or Managed User account for you to take a look for yourself on my server.
