Do you have the lyrics named exactly like the track they are for, except for the extension which is .lrc?
Do you have the Lyrics Find agent enabled?
Do you have the Local Media Assets agent enabled and sorted towards the top of the list?
When you have more than one set of lyrics for a song, the number of available lyrics will be displayed at the bottom of the lyrics window (EG: 1/2) along with left and right arrows. Click on the arrows to advance to the next set of lyrics for a song.
It worked for a while and now it is no longer working. I am trying to add lyrics for My Chemical Romance but the system wont let me…oh well.
I download the lrc file and place it into the folder where my music track is and fix the name, I make sure that the track info matches the .lrc file and then on the Plex Media Server, it loads into its own browser page and I click on the three dots outside of the music library and I click on scan library files.
I did that the first time I had this issue, the only difference is I have my music on the Premium plex music library instead of basic when I first did this.

Problem Solved, it cannot be on Plex Premium Music, in order for me to use my own lyrics that I’ve downloaded elsewhere, need to be on basic.
Thank you.
That shouldn’t be true. Lyrics work fine in Premium libraries. We just have to figure out why it isn’t for you.
You ran “Scan library files.” I would also try “Refresh metadata.” If that doesn’t work, I would try “Analyze.”
