Lyric Find doesn't show lyrics

Hello,

I noticed that Lyric Find doesn’t show a lot of lyrics. Very famous songs are without lyrics even if my tags are perfect.

How it is possible? I thought this service had all songs, at least the most famous

Lyrics from LyricFind are only available with a Plex Pass.
And even then, LyricFind will only deliver lyrics, if it has the right to do so.

Availability of song lyrics depends on valid copyright agreements for your country.
And these agreements need to be made between the proprietor of the lyrics and LyricFind.
Some right’s holders simply refuse to license their lyrics. Sometimes only for some countries, sometimes in general.
So lyric support will be “patchy”.

Thanks, I’ve already read that article.

I have a Plex Pass and my country is in the list.

For some songs I get lyrics, for others no.

I would say I DON’T get lyrics for 90% of songs, and it’s impossible because all my songs are very famous and new. I’m talking about top charts on radio and streaming services

It doesn’t matter how famous the artist is and how high the song is in the charts.
LyricFind needs to have a valid license from the proprietor of these lyrics. Sometimes they don’t have that.

ok but it looks like they have very few rights.
it’s impossible, there must be a problem because i’m sure they own rights for these songs

After you got the Plex Pass,
did you
a) restart your Plex Server
b) Refreshed Metadata on the Artist(s)
?

I’ve also found that if a track appears on multiple albums (for instance, the original release album and a “greatest hits” album), it may have the lyrics for the track on one album, but not the other.

yes of course.

sadly there are very few songs with lyrics, for example deezer has a very bigger database.

i thought it would be a similar service but it’s not.

i’m talking also about new songs which i bought recently

I read Plex pass gets lyrics from LyricFind.
The streaming service Deezer gets also lyrics from LyricFind.

So, how it’s possible that the same song gets lyrics on Deezer but not on Plex?
