(Mac) Library, collections and playlists show the same content

Suddenly these 3 categories show the exact same content - namely all movies and collections

Here I suppose (mind the swedish). Tried it but it didn’t change anything.

Then try
Settings - Plex Web - ‘Show Advanced’ - General - “Reset Customization”
After doing this, you will need to re-pin your libraries to the left side bar.

This will only affect this particular web app.
If you have these issues in the Plex for Desktop app, you will need to enter the settings menu in there.

It’s only in the desktop app. No risk loosing metadata in the reset?

No, this only affects the client app, not the server.

Then focus on exchanging Database from a recent Backup if unsuccessful.

I had the same issue a few weeks ago and the DBRepair tool fixed it right up.
