Server Version#: 3.69.1
The Plex Media Server for some reason seems to get into a state where it prevents the machine from going to sleep. This is something that usually would happen when playing video locally. But why is the server doing this? it ought to be up to the player. It is rather irritating since it keeps the monitor from going into energy-saving mode. I’ve seen this behavior for quite some time, and it can be seen by launching the Activity Monitor and checking the “Preventing Sleep” column in the “Energy” tab. Quitting the server, and re-launching it temporarily fixes the problem.
