Plex Media Server on MacOS sleeping

So I’ve started running PMS on a MacMini, where the actual files are on a NAS thats connected to the Mac using a NFS share.

The issue is where the Mac goes to sleep, Plex clients are unable to work and connect to the Plex server. This hasn’t ever really been an issue where I’ve run PMS on other platforms (like Windows or on a Synology). So what are my options? Is there a way to not close the network connections on the Mac when it sleeps? How do you even force a desktop Mac to not sleep at all?
