MacOS 10.16

There’s a separate thread where this has been discussed at length. The kernel panics seem to have been caused by a combination of apps using Apple’s new network filtering API and an activated Plex DLNA server. Users posted this is fixed in the current beta of macOS 11.1

Plex was working fine. I use it on the desktop, an iMac, and only as a player for audio files of which I have thousands. When I upgraded to Big Sur, Plex did not work at all. Downloaded the software once again and it works, however, although the wave form icon shows activity, There is no sound. All other app on the desktop play music as usual.
