Hi, this is probably a pretty obscure use case but I have an SSL BiG SiX set up as my output device for a Mac. I use the MacOS Audio/MIDI Setup app “Configure Speakers..” UI to route my Mac system audio to channels 15-16 on the Big Six (this is how the device is designed to work – USB 1-2 route to a mixer channel, USB 15-16 route to a stereo return and are ideal for handling system audio).
Using the Audio/MIDI Setup’s speaker configuration this way works fine for almost all Mac system audio. Apple Music player and web browsers all send to 15-16, but Plexamp still only outputs on 1-2.
Is there any way to get Plexamp to follow the system’s output configuration instead of defaulting to outputs 1-2?
