macOS - random crashing without active load/users

I had similar crashes, and can confirm that Version 1.40.3.8355-923a3b226 Solved my crashes for now.

Did you deactivate the auto update? Just checking because a friend was complaining about this build still crashing but… he was using again the “bad” one because he forgot to go back to manual updates.

So I downgraded yes again from a time machine backup, Version 1.40.2.835. So far no crashing have developed a new ver tragedy issue I have never encountered before. All of my libraries content show on the web app, infuse app, and roke but not any ios or tvos app.

I had the same crash as everyone else. Concurrently, I had an issue with only an indirect connection when I’ve never had that before. Basically, my system was useless.

I switched to the beta channel last night and loaded the latest build at about 7PM eastern time. As of now it all still up and running, and available outside my network.

This issue caused me to post a diatribe, which is rarely warranted. We’re just passionate here with our movies. Keep up the great work on this thing we love.

Running on 1.40.3.8502 - still about every few days or so the libraries are “unavailable” - a restart of the PMS resolves the issue.

Hi geekmaster64, I gather you mean your currently running 1.40.3.8502 as it has only been available for about 48hrs on Beta channel.

Anyway I am running Beta releases on a recent Apple Silicon device which generally is without issue. The only PITA problem to speak of is Live TV drop outs which I have now tracked down to having Scan my Library Periodically enabled. Very odd…

To mention, these random crashes were an issue when my server was Intel but I’m not sure if this above mentioned setting of Scanning correlates.
