Plex could really catch up to Emby if it could playback videos using MadVR like Emby does.

Errr you don’t get to pick and choose what Plex develops. You can suggest all you like, doesn’t mean it’s going to happen. They also don’t answer future plans so this is merely a suggestion…

It’s not to say they won’t but it needs to be popular before they will consider it and we really have no idea how that decision is made. Bare in mind you can use the Plex for Kodi addon in Kodi DSPlayer which is another option…
Yes, thanks for the option. I want to use the Plex interface (which I really like) instead of the Kodi one. Also, Kodi’s playback engine isn’t as great as it used to be. MPC still seems to be the best in terms of quality.
