It would be nice to be able to turn on “Maintenance Mode” while working on it, like changing backend NAS shares and let the scanning happen. A space for the Server Owner to put on something like “I am migrating servers right now and Plex is down for the next few days”.
A request for the same feature exists already, and it has more votes.
Therefore this one is closed, to prevent spreading the votes across several threads, even though they vote for the same (or at least very similar thing).
