It would be nice if there you could put the server into maintenance mode where existing streams could play out but if someone starts a new one they would get a notification that the server was going down for maintenance.
A request for the same (or at least very similar) feature exists already, and it has more votes.
Therefore this one is closed, to prevent spreading the votes across several threads, even though they vote for the same (or at least very similar thing).
