Major Buffering and Interfaces are slow to load

It’s there a global Plex network issue right now? In the last hour, all my app interfaces are taking a long time to load and everything is buffering. The Windows server, Windows app, and Shield TV app are all exhibiting this behavior.

I find that there are more and more technical incidents now, we are too dependent on their servers …

Same here! Plex web app page keeps getting stuck loading and stops music after a few seconds. Also, weird issues when signing in and out of Plex.

Definitely an issue with Plex central. Gotta love an app dependent on centralized services.

I am fairly certain there is an incident brewing - my external users seem to be having issues right now. Feeling good about running Emby in parallel right now, that’s for sure. Starting the external user switch in a few days as well.

It looks like all of their services are offline, which is what’s causing the buffering / blank screen issue.

Looks like the Plex-based streaming content is offline, the ability to connect to a friend list for doing shared watches on Plex, and web based authentication. I can access my content over local network but external data indeed seems to be down.

I had a feeling there was an issue brewing over an hour ago when Tautulli notified me of Remote Access issues…

They’re probably getting DDoS’d.

What makes you say that? Have they been DDoS’d in the past?

Just a guess. Lots of people are mad at Plex so it’s the first thing that comes to mind… right after everything crashing a-la the Plex MO.
