I just gave up. I just copied all of my movies to a USB drive and playing them on my Xbox One via the super ugly media player app. The interface is hideous but the movies all play flawlessly.
Try this: http://forums.plex.tv/discussion/293330/known-issues#latest I made the adjustment listed in the first step and haven’t had an issue since.
Direct play is the culprit
