I don’t want to rename my movies (I use scenename and format in the name) is there a way to make the plex movie agent get the name just from the folder name (which is like moviename (year) ).

If you do place the screen name and format within brackets like “Title (year) [screen name] [format].ext” then the plex agent would work
you have to write your own agent otherwise, i have a series scanner, you could modify it and/or plex movie scanner to achieve what you want

The github project doesn’t exist anymore.
I want that my scanner choose the folder name (each movie has his own folder) instead of the file name.

I don’t have time but these should give you the head start needed, but there isn’t a ready movie scanner to my knowledge.
A more clever way would be a configuration string to make adaptable to many naming conventions…
