Ability to create smart playlists from music source folders

Not sure if this has been implemented, but I am looking for the ability to be able to create a smart playlist based on the specific folder where the music resides.

For e.g.

Source Folder = “/disk1/music/Classic Music/”

Is this possible currently or is it a feature request?

Plex currently has no concept of your folder organization (beyond displaying a library in folder mode). There’s a suggestion asking for an option to filter a library by certain folders or path elements… with that you’d also be able to create a respective smart playlist/collection.

Though… if you have a dedicated folder for classical music… won’t it make more sense to actually give that set of music its own library?

That was example, just to help explain my request. My actual set up is based YouTube Channels which put out lots of different music with different artists, such as proximity. This makes it easier for me to sort and file away new music.

Feature Request: File Path filter // Automatic dynamic Full Pathname tags & associated Filter

We have other requests that are similar to this but not the same. What I would like is to have a class of user tags for all media files that would be dynamically and automatically created based on the full pathname of the media object and to add a filter option for selecting these dynamic tags in all the players.
