Manual audio offset

Is there seriously no way to manually offset audio in PMP?

Im using TV mode and tried the following tricks that I found by google…

  • Audio Sync mode - changing it from the default (Audio) makes the delay much much worse
  • Native OpenGL - made no difference but the colors went crazy. Super vivid and definitely not what its supposed to be.
  • Disable Direct Stream - Made no difference
  • Tried switching to Web mode - Audio problem still exists and now HDR isnt working. Colours all look really washed out

I used to be able to do this in Plex Home Theatre - why is it no longer an option?

BTW, audio sync works perfectly using VLC, MPC-HC etc - only in plex that it goes wonky

You can use

  • Alt+A – Increase audio delay
  • Alt+⇧ Shift+A – Decrease audio delay

in TV mode.

There is also the plexmediaplayer.conf which can take constant delay parameters, one for each picture refresh rate.

(If you don’t need a different delay for each movie, but a general one)

Fantastic! Will give it a go later when I’m back home.

Where can I find a concise list of keyboard commands for PMP (TV mode)?

You can use this

Or you simply take a look at the keyboard.json file in
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\PlexMediaPlayer\inputmaps\examples
