Manual Install on Amahi Server

Server Version#:1.14.0.5470

I’m using amahi server on a NAS. I have previously used their bundled app for one click install and that works fine, but it’s updated very irregularly and now is so out of date it’s broken. I decided to remove it and install the latest PMS build manually.

Everything seems to install just fine and the service is active, but I cannot access the web interface at http://192.168.1.10:32400/web.

Any advice on what the issue/fix might be would be appreciated.

Access from the loopback adapter and reconnect it with your Plex account.

Get the same error unfortunately: ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

Basics:

  1. Amahi is a pain and not supported so if you get it to work , great. We’ll try but if we can’t then we can’t.

  2. ps -ef | grep -i plex verify it’s running I suspect it’s not.

  3. Stupid question but common: Both on the same LAN subnet ?

That’s a bummer. Any reason it’s not supported? Shouldn’t it just function like a Fedora server?

What am I supposed to be looking for with the result below?

amahi 12994 24368 0 17:45 pts/0 00:00:00 grep --color=auto -i plex
plex 18787 1 0 12:28 ? 00:00:00 /usr/lib/plexmediaserver/Plex Media Server.

Not on the same subnet. The desktop I’m on currently is 192.168.1.233 and the server is 192.168.1.10. Is that an issue?
