Marantz PM7000N as DLNA audio player

I don’t know if I am overlooking something or is PLEX missing this essential feature. I have a network music receiver (Marantz PM7000N) but it seems PLEX server is not able to see it in the player list. It only shows my TV box but not the audio player.

Oddly Jellyfin sees it perfectly fine and sends data to it. PLEX music is kinda useless without this feature …

If anyone knows something that makes this work please let me know, as I do prefer PLEX for video files.

edit: I tried if PLEX AMP supports controlling the PLEX server to DLNA streaming but same. I really don’t understand why this is so.

I’m using a PM7000N and I can access my plex server. Did you enable DLNA?

You are misunderstanding my post. You CAN see the plex server, however you can not control the player through the plex interface.
