Marking Last Episode of Season as Played/Unplayed

I’ve noticed an issue with the Apple TV app. If I’m watching a TV series and I decide to not finish the last episode of a season, when I select the episode and then press down on the remote to go to mark it as played, I cannot go down. This is ONLY on the last episode of a season. I can do this on any other episode. So, select the last episode of a season, press down and you hear the Apple TV make the “boop” sound like it’s going to move the selector, but nothing happens.
