Mass localization bugs on last Plex Web

Hi everyone.
I’m new on this forum, so sorry if I write wrong brunch or something like that.
After last update of Plex Web ( 4.64.3) there are plenty of localization bugs in Ukrainian (and all the same bugs in PS4 clients). It’s about tens of pages and places where Ukrainian was replaced by Russian. Before last update all was good. I made screenshots and can describe them but I can’t find where to submit this problem. I’d be very grateful if someone could direct me to right forum or person.

Have the same issue with Plex Web 4.59.2

I haven’t used Plex for a while and noticed the issue only after last update but yes, it might be in earlier versions too I guess

Translations of the Plex user interface are provided by users. Please participate in this effort if you feel you can provide improvement.

Please head to Log in · Transifex and create a user account.
Then apply to each of the translation projects you want to work on.

Thanks for your response!

I did so before start this conversation but I couldn’t solve the issue. The point is that Ukrainian translated strings does not consist Russian language but Web interface does.
For example: original string - Recently Added. In Transifex I see right translation -
Нещодавно додані (UA)

But in Plex Web I see - Недавно добавленное (RU)
Plex 2021-08-31 12-55-16
It looks like it take strings from wrong source (RU instead of UA).

Did you look both in the “Web Clients” project as well as in the “Plex Media Server” project?
The string “Recently Added” exists in both projects.
Please compare them.
(I don’t have access to the Ukrainian projects, so I cannot look for myself.)

I think it might be the solution but unfortunately I have access only to “Plex for Smart TVs and Consoles” and “Web Clients” projects. How can I became a part of “Plex Media Server” project as well?

I think you apply to the project, just as you did to the other projects Plex Media Server localization

I used the search thru all projects and unfortunately all the same: all UA strings are 100% UA - none RU translation found :slightly_frowning_face:. It really looks like app (or web) takes wrong source strings by mistake.

Could you please tell me from which page your previous screen shot were taken?
Are they from the main page/start page?

Yeah. Screens are large so I’ll give links.
Main page (Home): Monosnap. Music and Music videos are the same.
In all libraries tabs and popup menus are RU: Monosnap
Content inside this 8 sections in Settings are RU Monosnap
All other content is UA.
Well that’s why I so wondered - there is a mix of two translations.

The web app shows strings from both the Web project, but also many strings from the server.
Judging by your screen shots, the server may have the wrong strings imported for Ukrainian.

So what could be the solution for the issue? There’s no even support@ mail or something else like in other products/apps. Where/whom can I submit the bug?

You already have.
I have forwarded this issue.

Thank you a lot!
