I seem to have come across an error when adding content created before the year 1900. For example, the short clip of “Newark Athlete” filmed in Thomas Edison’s laboratory was made in 1891, but when I go into Edit mode and try to enter “1891-05-01” into the Originally Available field, I get the error “Your changes could not be saved.” If I enter in “1899-01-01”, I still get the error, but any date entered after “1900-01-01” works just fine
And just for further clarification, letting PLEX scan these clips for the correct metadata does find the right year of release, and will display it as such, but it does not fill in the YYYY-MM-DD “Originally Available” field correctly, as it will only enter “1900-01-01”. Manually editing this field to a date prior to the year 1900 will display the “Your changes could not be saved” error.
