OK, I moved my media from plex folder to Media shared folder as stated in the FAQ. I have permissions set to plex and admin. I changed the owner permissions to admin on all the folders. I don’t understand what group=users and 644 permissions means or where I see that.
Also, I deleted my Movies folder and can’t see how to add new media. So, I would appreciate that help as well.

OK, added Movies folder, but it can’t see any of my films now. Is there a reason that FAQ still says putting media in Media shared folder when I had no trouble putting media in plex folder and getting it seen?
Anyway, I checked individual video files, and they have admin set as owner.

On Synology, the databases are in Plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Plug-in Support/Databases
I recommend the easier way of doing this:
Stop Plex
Give your username R/W permission to the Plex share
File Station -> Drill down into Library into the Databases directory
Look for the most recent backup of your DB. Keep this in mind (we’ll use it)
Rename the existing com.plexapp.plugins.library.db to have a -bad at the end
Rename your most recent backup of the DB to be named com.plexapp.plugins.library.db
Make a new copy of that main DB file (in case something else happens)
Start Plex
Scan all your files and metadata to make sure everything is back in sync.
