PLEX can not access the Media-Folder - permission problem?

Hello,

I have installed PLEX on my DS418 play to organize my Media-Libary.
After installing PLEX I want to add a Media-Libary but PLEX is unable to find/see the folder.
It looks like the folder is empty - for sure it is not empty.

I have already checked the permission of the plex user. It has RW for the Media-Folder.
I also tried to reinstall PLEX, restart my DS but it does not solve the problem.

Do you have an Idea how to fix this?

i fixed it myselfe.

Solution: give the User-Group “video” permissions for the Media-Folder

I had the same problem after an update.
For some reason the user “plex” didn’t have anymore rights to my DS415 after an update.
After giving user “plex” read/write permissions it worked again.
