Media Libraries not available

I have upgraded to DSM 7, and have installed the latest Plex client from the Plex Site. However I did not back up my configuration file. This is not a big concern as I am happy to setup again.
However when I try to add my media locations I cannot browse to the folders which my files are stored.
Volume1\Video \Movies
I can browse to Volume1\Video but does not show any of the folders

I have ensured that the Permissions for PLEX, Admin and my user is FULL CONTROL but still cannot see the folders listed under Video.

I moved a couple movie files to the directory I could access, but it does not see the files listed there either.

Any advise would be appreciated

Permissions for PLEX,

With DSM 7, Plex runs with the username PlexMediaServer. It is a System Internal User (new for DSM 7). The username Plex is no longer required/used.

I had done this change to permissions but via a different path I had found on a YouTube Video. Doing the permissions following these instructions seems to make it work.
