Media Server becomes inaccessible at certain times

I have been running a plex server for over a year now, and I’ve had little problems, but recently when talking to a couple that are using it, they have issues at specific times. Around 4-5 am the server becomes inaccessible, so I assumed it auto restarted, but I figured I should investigate just to be sure.

The server enters a retry connection loop around those times, and usually comes back up after a few minutes, and then goes down again, and keeps doing this for a while, until its back. The other people that are using it are claiming that this can last for as long as 3 hours (7-8am).

Are there any logical reason for this? (server auto restart or something), and if so, is it possible to change that time to a time when its more suitable?

Check your scheduled tasks.

Deep media analysis can put quite a load on a machine.
Smaller processors can struggle quite badly.

I was looking at this, but I just assumed it wasn’t this since it was set to start at 2am-5am. I tried to turn off most of them, to see if it helps, but I bet you’re right since plex is running on a pretty limited proxmox container.
