On an NVidia Sheild with the pre-installed PLEX app. I just switched my external USB drive to get more space for media. Now all of the PLEX MEDIA SERVER options have disappeared entirely! in the PLEX settings, the heading is there, but there aren’t even any icons under that heading!
I have unplugged the drive, unplugged the shield-tv device for a while, then let it restart without the new drive plugged-in, and still, no PLEX server options at all. I can login to plex.tv, I can access (over my local network) the /logging interface, but i cannot access the /web interface.
I just noticed that the server portion of the Plex app has completely disappeared on my Shield! I go to “settings” and under the “PLEX MEDIA SERVER” heading there aren’t even any icons! It’s totally gone!
I can reach the /logging at port 32400, but there is no /web at port 32500.
All other functions are normal. I can login to Plex.tv, I enter the four characters, blah blah. The only thing that has disappeared is the media server functionality.
Not sure if/how this is linked to this thread?!
What version of PMS do you have installed on your Shield?
PS: The server is running under port 32400. the logging under port 32500 is that for the Android TV client running on your Shield (if temporarily enabled)

I find this sometimes happens if the server crashes and needs to be restarted, but the client is already running. Force close the client, then force close the server, then run the client again and wait a bit until your libraries reappear and it usually brings the settings menu back.
