Media server service does not seem to run (properly) after update

Since media server version 1.40.2.8555 I have the same problem with every update and have to go back to 1.40.2.8395 eventually. After the installation of the update, the media server is not accessible. It does not show up and cannot be found in any Plex player and if I try to access it directly via the browser: https://localIP:32400/web I get an error (connection was refused)
I have the impression that media server does seem to run (properly) after the update. It appears in the service list (as running) but does not use any memory or cpu power.
Stopping and rerunning the Plex service does not help. Neither a reboot of the NAS. Once I reinstall version 1.40.2.8395 everything works fine. The Plex server shows up immediately in the browser and all the other clients (well, except for iOS clients. Here I get the message that the server is not supported any longer and an update is required).

“http” funktioniert leider auch nicht. Wie bereits beschrieben, scheint der Plex Server Dienst nicht richtig zu laufen. Obwohl der Dienst als “gestartet” angezeigt wird, werden keine Ressourcen genutzt: CPU und Speicher-Nutzung bleiben auf Null. Das erklärt vermutlich auch, warum der Link zum Server nicht funktioniert und die Clients den Server nicht mehr finden.

Sobald ich zurück auf die alte Version 1.40.2.8555 gehe, läuft der Dienst einwandfrei, die Ressourcennutzung springt sofort an und der Link öffnet die Server Website.
