Media unavailable when accessing remotely

Hi,

I’ve got a strange a problem with accessing my media remotely.

Recently my NAS completely died. The replacement works fine and now all of my media is restored to the same locations. Everything works locally with no issues. However, remote access gives me “The Plex Media Server can’t find or access the media file for this library item at the expected location”.

That message comes up for every file. However, if I access the file locally on Plex (I don’t even have to play it, just get it cued up), the file is then accessible remotely.

What on earth is going on here?

However, the issue seems to have disappeared all by itself now. No idea why.
