ok just launched the server and went to last nights which is the most recent episodes and movies i have. i notice that instead of starting a new row of thumbnails i have a arrow i need to click to go to the right to see more content. i really need to have all thumbnails showing and having to scroll down to see any that do not fit in the general view not scroll to the right. any fix for this? thanks
EDIT:
just clicked tv specials and it’s view is correct. 1 row 8 and 1 row for the other 2, not just one row.
You’re not really giving much information as to what you’re actually looking at (e.g. which Plex client/version…).
From what you describe it sounds like you’re looking at the server home/start page or the „Recommended“ view of a specific library. Those views show a number of hubs — e.g. for recently added, last aired/released, most popular… content. On the library section you should be able to switch to the library view which will show the full poster wall (with rows over rows of media. If configured accordingly, Plex will remember the view you used the last time when accessing that library and directly go there.
personally i’d rather have a completely customizable on deck for all added in x amount of time from all libraries. one where i chose the amount of items and how far back to consider an item new.
