Merge multiple files into one

Server Version#: 1.40.2.8395-c67dce28e-aarch64
Player Version#: Web browser (IE Edge)

Hello

I’m new with Plex, so I hope i can found the good words
So I installed the Plex Media Server for a QNAP Nas, which store multiple Series
The folder structure is similar like this:

Series/
Action/
Seal Team/
S01/
Seal Team S01E01.mkv

Fantasy/
Aladdin/
S01/
Aladdin S01E01.mkv

Kung Fu Panda/
S01/
. …

When I made a search with Plex, it is successfully created a thumbnail for Seal Team and all episodes. And create a Fantasy “folder” with lots of files. The name of the folder is: Aladdin, the S01 E01 file contains multiple files: Aladdin S01E01.mkv and Kung Fu Panda S01E01.mkv … and when I click on that, Plex start a random file :frowning:

How can I split this manually? or say to Plex that DONT USE multiple files for one thumbnail …

Thanks

  1. https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files/
  2. if you have subfolders for genre or other categorization, you must add these subfolders to your Plex library, not their common parent folder. Because otherwise it would violate the rules which are laid out in 1)
