Basically the title. I have an ASMR, Music Videos, and Exercise Videos as their own separate libraries under the Videos category, and all of them vanish from the Home Screen with this option turned on.
TV/Movies categories delightfully merge libraries like it used to be some months back, but Videos? Nope, just gone from the Home Screen completely, even if the libraries are pinned.
(I want to thank all the work done to bring this option to fruition by the way, even with this oversight!)
EDIT: Yes, I have them all pinned, before anyone asks.
EDIT 2: Under âManage Recommendationsâ each Videos library has âRecently Added Videosâ Home option checkmarked. No dice.
Hey there⊠I had a similar issue, where I was not seeing anything on my Home screen (not movies or tv shows, etc.) when I enabled the Merge Recently Added Items functionality. What I discovered (and worked for me) was that the categories of movies and tv shows that I had previously exlcuded from appearing on the Home screen were the problem. The fix was for me to go to Manage > Libraries and then select Manage Recommendations for each of the excluded categories and enable them in the Home column (they were previously disabled). Once I did that and restarted my app, everything came up as expected. Hope this helps you or at least sends you in the right direction. If not, I hope you find a solution.
FYI: If you previously excluded a library from the home screen (Edit Lbrary > Advanced > Visibility), those recently added library items still wonât show up in the list of things showing after you enable the Merge Recently Added Items row. This is good. (for me at least).
If you are âMergingâ Libraries, Recently Added Other Videos disappears.
Youâll need to enable Unplayed, or Recently Watched Videos to see something.
I checked, and all of them have âRecently Added Videosâ checked for âHome.â I also checked the Visibility option and they are all set to âinclude in home screen and global search.â These options were already set this way. The Agent is set to Personal Media, because thatâs what they are, there is no db for them to check anyway. The scanner is set to Plex Video Files Scanner, is that ok?
Iâm unable to see âRecently addedâ from anything when selecting the "Merged Recently Added Itemsââ option. When itâs unchecked, âRecently Addedâ come back for all pinned libraries.
Go to Settings, then Manage, then Libraries, then Manage Recommendations and makes sure what you want has a checkbox. You are on a early version though so I donât know what bugs may exist.
Just checking in, itâs been over a month since MovieFan.Plex mentioned he was able to reproduce the problem and would look into it; how are we doing so far, if I may ask?
