Merged Movies show as bit rate not name

Hi

This is probably me being really stupid but I’m hoping you can all help me out

I have 2 versions of a movie

Nightbreed {release}
Nightbreed {directors cut}

I’ve named them as above and they are merged but when I click the … and select version I don’t get names I get bit rate and resolution and then need to guess. I have other films I want to merge the versions of so could really do with knowing what I’m doing wrong.

I’m guessing I may need to edit the file properties I’ve split the files apart and manually given them versions then merged them but end up in the same position.

I’ve changed the names to

Nightbreed {edition-Director’s Cut}
Nightbreed

But still can’t see the names when I click on the … then play version just the bit rate and resolution.

Am I still missing something?

Editions don’t use the ‘Play Version’ menu, they show up as separate entries in your library. You’ll have to split them apart and then ensure the Edition field is set correctly:

Thanks both I’ve now got them working with the proper versions just need to stop them merging when I scan and I’m all done.
