Any way to get metadata for each episodes instead for the entire series. Description, rating etc. for each episode is useful.
In Plex Web and Plex Media Player on Windows there is a Summary View showing per-episode information. Availability varies by client. I did not see the option on my Android phone, probably due to screen space limitations.
When I switch to summary view I do not see details like what you get for ‘Gilligans’. I just see ‘Show name-Episode 1’, Show name-episode 2’…

I had to rename folder name to get metadata to work. But that only gave me a general summary of the series. I would also like summary for each episode. Right now there is no info for each individual episodes. Episode have the original Spanish names.

The folder name was in the format ‘foreign name (2017)’. I changed it to 'foreign name -English name (2017). That worked in getting metadata for the series.
Episode names are ‘foreign name-Episode 1’. I did not change this. But plex changed it to ‘english name-Episode 1’. But it did not extract any metadata for each episode.

Let me try this. Since the show metadata got extracted after renaming it I didnt think I would need to modify the names of the individual episodes too.
I tried renaming one episode but it didnt help. Anyway I have another foreign tv show and that matched episodes perfectly.
You might have to perform the Plex Dance after renaming your files.
