Metadata is mixing info from two movies

Showing correct text but wrong poster
Hi,

I can't get the Plex manager to update the metadata so that it gets correct information from the same movie.

the movie in question is "Jack Frost" 1998, the text metadata that is retrieved is being mixed with the B horror movie from 1997/1996 with the same name. Would be ok if I could get it to get the correct image, but no matter what I do (i have tried selecting both movies) but it always shows the horror movie poster.

The information is correct for both movies, including poster on themoviedb.org, so this seems to be connected to how Plex Server retrieves the information.

Thanks

ps. Thank you for an awesome product.

Hi!

Is your movie folder named “Jack Frost (1998)” and/or the video file named “Jack Frost (1998).ext”?

You can also try to fix the matching issue by doing a Fix Incorrect Match and search on the IMDB id:

In Media Manager right-click on the movie → Choose Fix Incorrect Match → Click the Search button → In the Name field, enter the IMDB id of the movie (tt0141109) → Select the right movie and let PMS update the info.

If the poster is still incorrect you can choose another poster by going to the detail view for the movie and select *Change Artwork* → *Choose Poster*.

Thanks!

That did work.
