Four days ago I download the film Purple Hearts (2022) named like that in the movie folder and the agent was able to retreive metadata but today, I try to add Cinderella Man (2005) and In the Heart of the Sea (2015) and no data from the both film are retrevied… I firstly tried to renamed in french title as for other film in my library wiythout result (the 3 files are in the same folder). Also the english naming didn’t help… I didn’t found any mention of the association in the log… seems that the agent are unable to connect but I didn’t change anything on my side
I’m having the exact same issue…with both tv shows and movies…using plex media server 1.32.5.7210-77f799fa on windows 10 machine…go to fix match, no matches found using plex series agent…no auto matches either…
Refresh metadata just remains grey after pushed, and no results still…tried it on items from a few days ago which are fine, but when hitting “match” is comes up again as no matches found…
All files are 100% formatted to the proper convention, as it i’m trying it on those that are properly showing up…
Thanks for the tip, i did it with the tv shows too…and it seems to be working as well…will try it now with movies using the movie database as the agent…

Same for me, I need to use the last.fm / TVDB / MovieDB in order to retrieve the data and then Plex server required me to switch back to Plex agent (officiel recent and better) … who didn’t provide any info and didn’t retrieve any data… becoming verey boring
