Switched to new Plex agent. Agent will match most movies correctly on its own with no prompting.
If it misses a movie, the Fix Match shows no results, even with the IMDB ID in the manual search options, with English selected as the language. Search just always instantly returns no matches, even if I type in the name of unrelated movies.
Refresh Metadata does nothing, and in one case actually UNmatched a couple of more movies!
If I switch back to using The Movie DB or the Legacy agent, it takes longer, but will accurately find matches.
Am using proper naming scheme
Am using App.plex.tv
Tried in Firefox with extensions disabled, then in a fresh, brand-new Edge-Chromium install.
Firewall does not appear to be blocking anything other than my DMZ going into my home net.
Uses ISP-provided and Cloudflare Public DNS.
Server is FreeNAS-11.3-U5
IPv6 is disabled
Server Version#: 1.21.3.4046
Player Version#: 4.52.1
@russbgrant Let try and figure out what’s going wrong here.
First: try and hard refresh the web page (normally shift + refresh) and see if that helps.
Second: if it still does this after the web page refresh then restart the server, wait at least 2 minutes and try again. If it works, then awesome if it still gives the same issue please send me the logs (Settings → Troubleshooting → Download Logs).
Your issue is that we’re unable to find the online metadata service that we use, I’m not entirely sure why as it should load when starting up the server.
I thought it was a similar issue. I tried starting and stopping PLEX, but it did solve the problem. I restarted my QNAP host and and that seems to have fixed it.
