I don't care who's issue this is Microsoft or Plex, but it needs fixed. Plex keeps my session open from the last time I had my xbox powered on. and when it comes up is says this. no amount of logging into my xbox live account makes plex recover. I have to reset my xbox to get it to work, (long 20 sec press on power button on the xbox) then of course it does not remember the last plex session and it is fine until the next time I turn on my xbox.
Very annoying to have to reset my xbox every time I power it on.
I can't believe there is not a post about this already
Or you could press the menu button and go down to "Quit", this restarts just the app. Here's the MS help doc: [Close an Xbox One app or game](http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/apps/how-to-close-xbox-one-app-or-game)
For what it's worth, I get this once and a while and it's due to the fact that plex started before an account was signed in. I've noticed that if I wait about 10-15 seconds it will log in and bring up my media all on it's own with out quitting, but some are not that patient.
In my example I have TV running through the xBox. So we can "live" in this.
Now I have the TV app setup, Netflix, etc.. Lots of customizations to TV channels and favorites to make it easy for my 80 year old dad to get around in the system.
Now if we could easily change Plex User names in Plex like is done in Netflix this would make it a piece of cake. However if username change has to be done via the xBox itself then I have to now also duplicate and keep in sync both accounts or my dad will be lost if he can't find his TV channels under favorites or his Golf game (under my xBox live account), etc. If the HOME screen isn't the same he might not find TV or Netflix, etc...
So the 2nd school of thought on this is to do exactly the same as Netflix. Netflix just simply prompts you at start up which user id to use.
It really should not be hard to give the user the option of both methods of login and let the user/admin decide.
